This is a completed and painted, fixed-pose figure. The Stegosaurus looks very different now than when I fell in love with dinosaurs as a kid. Back then they were depicted with a large belly, an arched back, and their tails dragged the ground; nowadays it’s generally agreed that they may have been more streamlined, and the tail was likely carried level to the ground. You can appreciate the changes our long-dead friends have gone through when examining this highly detailed polyresin model. Measuring 25.5cm (10 inches) long by 15.5cm (slightly over 6 inches) high, he’d look great displayed on your desk or bookshelf on his wooden base!
